Coming Home to
Music, Arts, and Culture
A compass that guides us; an inspiration to reach
great heights, and a refuge when occasionally we falter
– this is what family provides.
Swapna Datar is the director of ‘Pariwaar’, Pune. Under the umbrella of ‘Pariwaar,’ many curious young minds have been exploring their talent, and honing their skills while gaining unprecedented exposure to our rich heritage of art, music, and spirituality. Regular sessions are held to impart technical knowledge of Violin, Tabla, Harmonium, and Keyboard, Vocals for ladies and gents, Bharatnatyam, the Bhagavad Gita, Paurohitya, and Yogasana.
Programs of maestros as well as upcoming artists are organized to bring them together with the intent of giving young students exposure to a culturally and artistically enriching environment.
Here are some innovative initiatives from ‘Pariwaar’:
Srujananand
where children from the tender age of 4 are exposed to artistic and cultural activities to help them become equipped and resilient for the challenging yet opportunistic future that awaits them.
Kalangan

Activities for all age groups
While focusing on the young generation, ‘Pariwaar’ organizes various activities like Budhwar Bhajan, Bhagavad Gita Workshop, and Saptahs (spiritual and cultural gatherings) to preserve and promote Indian culture and raise awareness about its spiritual nature.
